I’m baking for Bakesale for Japan in Berkeley this Saturday!

This Saturday (April 2nd), I’ll be participating in Bakesale for Japan. I can’t tell you how excited I am, so you’ll just have to stop by Gioia Pizzeria (1586 Hopkins St.) from 10a. -2p. to buy awesome baked goods or say hi and watch me geek out.

I’m making this flourless chocolate cake with raspberry caramel sauce, and additional tasty things as my Friday permits.

Yay!

Hi! I found this blog while searching for entries about yesterday’s Bakesale for Japan, and stuck around to read more entries. :) Nice blog!

I saw on Twitter that the official Berkeley amount raised for Peace Winds is $1032.45. Little actions do make a difference! So cool!

Thanks, Stacy! Can you link me to where the official amounts were posted? Yesterday, I heard a much higher amount of $3,000 for the Berkeley location.

Oh, $3000 sounds much better! The amount I posted was from the Bakesale for Japan’s Twitter feed, but I read it too fast and didn’t realize it was from a different location. And I was impressed with $1000+! I’m also awaiting the official word…
